Milo Yiannopoulos permanently banned from Twitter

Milo Yiannopoulos has been permanently banned from Twitter today. Twitter states this was due to him “harassing” ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones.

Here is the email he received from Twitter regarding the ban:

This is yet another case of social media sites silencing anyone who disagrees with feminist idealogy. Social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook have become “safe spaces” for feminists. These special snowflakes  apparently develop PSTD whenever someone insults them online.

Supporters of Milo, who had more than 338,000 followers on Twitter prior to his suspension, have created the #FreeMilo and #FreeNero hashtags on the platform in protest at Twitter’s latest attack on the conservative commentator. It is currently accumulating approximately 20-30 tweets a minute, which should mean it will trend soon — unless Twitter artificially suppresses it.
Feminists who mass reported his Twitter page are rejoicing that another “misogynist” has been banned. Meanwhile misandrists such as clementine ford continue to spew their vile hate speech against men without any ramifications.

So where will Milo go from here? Perhaps it’s time we created our own social media network that allows freedom of speech.
