UPDATE: The facebook page AVFM has now been banned as well!

Facebook have been throwing the ban hammer and banning several pages that are against feminism.

Last week our page “Anti-Feminism Australia” (45,000 likes) was unpublished by Facebook with an “appeal” button. I appealed it and waited patiently for a day. The next day I woke up to find that the page had been completely deleted without any notice or warning from facebook. It was just lucky that I had managed to backup all the photos containing our memes before the page vanished. I believe this was a result of feminists mass reporting all pages against feminism. It appears as though facebook are now siding with feminists in censoring anything that goes against their ideology.

Today I received some news that the popular page “Exposing Feminism” had also been unpublished by facebook. At the time of writing this, they are currently waiting the appeal, but knowing what happened to Anti-Feminism Australia, its unlikely they will be successful.

Most of these feminists attacking us have come from Clementine Ford’s page and also the page “Feminists United“. Despite many of us reporting their pages for vile hate speech against men, their pages still remain without any posts removed. This proves that facebook are siding with feminists and refusing to delete any content that bashes men. As expected, feminists are celebrating their “victory” in censorship:

Laugh it up now bitches, because you’re going to regret getting us banned – we will become even bigger without the censorship of your big daddy facebook to protect you. All you’ve done is moved us onto another platform where you can no longer censor us. Shame whoever shared that screenshot blacked out the name, I certainly wouldn’t have.

Here is another feminist going around to antifeminist facebook pages and leaving threatening messages about them being taken down:

Due to its increasing censorship, Facebook is over. We are at the end of an era and must move onto external sites where we cannot be censored. I have created a forum (www.antifeminismaustralia.com) for all the refugees of anti-feminist pages on facebook that are being banned. The forums were created about a month ago, as I had a gut feeling this was going to happen in the future, and it turns out I was right. I urge you all to sign up to the forums if you value freedom of speech and anonymity that social media sites like facebook cannot provide. We will never be silenced, and we will rise up from the ashes and become bigger and better than ever before.

In this case, him is a her. Its only a matter of time before someone takes a machine gun to The National Organization of Women and give these Tyrannical Harpies what’s coming to em.

  2. It is disgusting that Facebook is banning based on opinions, yet ignore death threats and other forms of harrassment coming from people who share Facebook’s ideologies and views.

I do wonder if feminists who have displayed ‘hate speech’ towards men or anyone else who disagreed with them have been cencored. Probably not.

  3. Don’t give up! I’ve discovered that when Facebook bans pages it is easy for the owners to put up a new page with the same or similar name. I have a page that I expect to be banned one day but I fully intend to put up an alternative page. Facebook is used by so many people we can’t just give it up to the bad guys.
